Best Minor Character in a Comedy?

Postby DragonQ » Mon 06-Oct-2008, 00:42:25

The definition of "minor" is not very specific but I'm sure you can all use your brains to decide whether a character is "minor" or not.

Anyway, I vote for Ted from Scrubs - every line he has is hilarity. Et toi?

OK I said the definition of "minor" was not specific but come on, Stewie and Dr. Cox are clearly main characters.

The Ted is indeed hilarious.

Scrubs used to be my favorite show but haven't watched it in a while.

I hate Stewie, he got old after like the 20th episode.

The creator of the show voices him, along with Peter, Brian and some other characters. His accent is mostly upper-class English but he obviously says American words like "diapers" and also ocassionally says words with a more American accent. Fairly typical of an American doing an English accent really. He is hilarious though.

I'm sorry, but South Park really doesn't make me laugh much (the movie is good though). I'm starting to like mature humour a lot more though since you need some sort of intelligence to understand it (and knowledge of current events etc.)

Plus, I vote all but Frankie Boyle and Darren O' Brien from Mock The Week (since Darren hosts it and Frankie is the funniest on the show), most of the rest I'd say they were minor characters. It sucks to be non-British, you have no idea what I'm on about 11

Great show. Though I prefer the American version to the British version.

The American show has a more "fun" spirit but I know Clive Anderson from other things so he makes me laugh more than Drew Carey. Other than that, the shows are pretty much identical.

Though I don't find Drew Carey to be very funny, I think it is quite easy to tell just by the set, which is the older version of the two, and that's not a good thing. I think my two favourite comedians on the show are Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie.

No shit they are the main characters and star in every show, interchanging the 3rd and 4th guy, the gay black guy usually plays 4th guy, or the guy with the glasses.
